CLINIQUE is an OG skincare brand and probably one of the very few high-end international skincare brands available in India. In this blog, I will walk you all the popular products from the brand. These are all my opinions, remember everyone's skin is different. There will be some products that you love but I don't, so if you like a product, it works for you use it, at the end of the day it's your preference. Products are mostly fragrance-free, allergy-tested, cruelty-free, and parabens free.
₹2350
This is exfoliating treatment; it is 100% fragrance-free. In terms of ingredients, the second ingredient is alcohol denat., this is a really bad ingredient when used in high concentration, can be drying for all skin types especially dry skin, and will conceivably irritate your skin in the long run, can sensitize the skin and advance aging. This also has glycerin and sodium hyaluronate (a derivative of hyaluronic acid) which are humectants and moisturizing for the skin. This also has menthol which can be irritating for sensitive skin. Overall, this not a very good product to invest in.

₹1900
This is a very popular cleanser for dry skin; this is one of their signature products. It has aloe Vera juice, the only ingredient that I like. This is formulated with sodium laureate sulfate along-side other surfactants (cleansing agents). There are better cleansing agents, and this can be stripping and harsh for the skin along-side other cleansing agents. This has menthol with is fine in a wash-off treatment. Overall, this is a basic cleanser and very similar to the Cetaphil cleanser.

MRP:₹3400
This is a really lightweight but hydrating eye cream. It has cyclopentasiloxane, which is a good emollient and prevents trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL). This also has mulberry extract, many root extracts, green tea extract all are good antioxidants which prevent the under eyes from free radical damage. For the ingredients that I don’t like, this has polyethylene (plastic), which is harmful to the environment, harm marine wildlife.

₹2250
This is an excellent spot treatment for treating acne. Spot treatments can be a hit or a miss, it depends from person to person. This seems a little pricey but you only need the tiniest amount, and this lasted me 2 years, no BS. This has benzalkonium chloride help prevent the spread of acne bacteria, laminaria sacharina Extract, help prevent the build-up of oil, sea whip extract soothes the skin, this also has denatured alcohol is very drying but its help full in a spot treatment. This is one of my favorite products from Clinique.

₹3200
Lightweight makeup remover quickly dissolves tenacious eye and face makeup, sunscreens. Cleans thoroughly, rinses off completely. Gentle on the skin. This is non-greasy, non-drying, ophthalmologist tested. For all skin types. This has caprylic/capric triglyceride, ethylhexyl palmitate which are really good emollients and sorbeth-230 tetraoleate which is an excellent mild cleansing agent. This is a really good product.

MRP:₹2000
This probably their most popular product, this is formulated for more combination to oily skin. This has some good silicones, seaweed extracts for soothing the skin, saccharomyces lysate extract improve absorbtion, help with irritation, cucumber extracts, sunflower seed oil and sodium hyaluronate (a derivative of hyaluronic acid) which are humectants and moisturizing for the skin also this has Dimethicone which controls oil production and acts as a primer for flawless makeup application. This a very good product.

MRP:₹2000
This is a moisturizer, its formulated for more normal to dry skin. this has glycerin which is a humectants, sesame seed oil which is really moisturizing and is non comedogenic (does not clog pores), urea which at low concentrations can be really hydrating and sodium hyaluronate. The primary ingredients used for moisturizing are mineral oil and petrolatum, they are really lightweight and gentle on the skin. This product is basic, good, hydrating moisturizer.

MRP:₹2000
This is a relatively newer product, this is for all skin types. This has a unique jelly texture. This has glycerin, sunflower oil, hydrating algae extract, cucumber extract, and sodium hyaluronate. It is a good in-between product from the lotion and the gel. This wasn’t an incredible product but a good basic hydrating product

₹2700
It contains sodium hyaluronate which is a form of hyaluronic acid, is a humectant, glycerin a humectant, green tea extracts soothes the skin, brightens helps with irritation, sucrose is a natural form of glycolic acid, moisturizes, protects the skin from pollutants and toxins. This also has thermos thermophillus ferment which is n ingredient I don’t find in many products but it's amazing for the skin, it's an incredible antioxidant, it’s a skin protectant which will help with any sensitivity or irritation that you’re facing and it contributes to the overall health of the skin. This is the best product from Clinique till now and is worth the coin.

I do like this the brand and from a formula perspective it's good but I d think it's overpriced. You can find much cheaper some even better products in Korean skincare. This is an older generation of skincare along with Lancome etc. I don’t think many of them are trying to improve their formulas with newer better ingredients but I do think Clinique is still doing a better job, they have recently launched the Clinique IDs with in my opinion is a fresh concept.
